To me, Reiki is a ritual of returning to yourself. Its intention is to calm and balance the mind, body, and spirit, creating space for deep rest, reconnection, and restoration.
Rooted in Japanese tradition, Reiki uses life force energy through gentle hands-on and hands-off techniques. It offers a quiet invitation for the body to soften, release tension, and return to its natural rhythm.
Each experience is unique. Some people leave feeling more connected to their bodies, lighter in spirit, and deeply relaxed. Others experience emotional release, a sense of clarity, or a renewed feeling of inner balance.
At its heart, Reiki is an opportunity to slow down, receive, and reconnect with the wisdom within you.

Reiki is a complementary wellness practice intended to support relaxation and personal well-being. It is not a substitute for medical care, mental health treatment, or professional medical advice. However, there are a lot of studies out there that Reiki has helped prior to and post surgery.
